Florence Night Out (FNO) seeks local artists interested in creating pop-up art installations at this May’s FNO. Artists will have the opportunity to transform portable moving/storage pods (from a local business) into one-night-only, individual art installation/performance spaces.
The pods will be situated throughout the Florence village center and open to audiences during the spring FNO event:
Friday, May 6
PROJECT CRITERIA AND INFORMATION
FNO is looking for engaging, dynamic, and thought-provoking work.
Potential projects may include but are not limited to:
- visual art

See the work of past participating artists and performers here:
Thanks to funding from local business, we can offer artists a modest $50 stipend.
ABOUT THE PODS
We can show projection, hang artwork, and seat 4 chairs per pod for audience members. We’ll have the pods available a few days before the event in order to prep and we can help you address any needs in terms of audio/visual equipment, transport of work, and electrical power supply, etc. Pod dimensions are approximately 6x7x7.
In addition to the small pods available through this open call, 5 large pods will be placed throughout the village and feature of the work of previously selected artists.
