Noted for smart songwriting, articulate guitar playing, and for having a perfect pop-rock voice, New England native Rick Murnane‘s 2012 album Wednesday Child was described in Performer Magazine as “beautiful, psychedelic material suitable for any day of the week.”
He’s currently working on a new album, slated for release later this year.
Joining Rick for this show are Nick Dines on drums, and Fred Goodhue on bass. They play as a trio several times a year throughout the Northeast, for club gigs and private events.
ON PLAYING FLORENCE NIGHT OUT
Rick says: “I am always fond of playing community events whenever my schedule allows, and try to book a few throughout each year. I’ve been regularly involved with First Night, the Music on the Porch Series, and Transperformance for the past several years, so Florence Night Out feels like another perfect fit. Besides, I was born right down the street at Cooley Dickinson, and my folks lived in Florence at the time. This is like a homecoming for me.”
